When former NY Giants Head Football Coach, Jim Fassel, decided to call Phoenix home, he settled in buying a home and setting up a business operation.

Then he met Flynann Janisse who introduced him to Starlight
Community Theater, a local theater group that provides the venue for young people to express themselves creatively, build self‐esteem, and achieve their full potential.

Jim understands what it takes to succeed in football, in business, and in life. He believes in taking an active
role in fostering success within the community in which he lives and does business,” explained Flynann Janisse.

He stepped up to sponsor Starlight because we share the common goal of helping kids in our community succeed.”

Fassel owns a full‐service commercial office building along the I‐17/Carefree Hwy corridor where he provides full‐service office space to local businesses and, even with his busy broadcasting and coaching schedule, he stays plugged in to his Anthem/Tramonto community.

"We are all players in our community; I'm just another member of the team,” Fassel stated. “What a privilege to have our own community theater group right here! We should jump in and help because they help shape kids lives in a positive way. They provide experiences to grow and foster relationships that last a lifetime.”

Fassel is the primary sponsor of the next two Starlight performances ‐ The Frog Prince and Alice in Wonderland.

He believes that it is every business’ responsibility to help support the community in which they live and do business.

The spirit behind building a great community is the same as that of building a great team ‐‐ work together in the best interest of all,” explained Fassel, “and when someone in your community ‐‐ someone on your team ‐‐ needs a helping hand, you extend it.”

Fassel knows a thing or two about building great teams. He was named NFL Coach of the Year in 1997 and as
Head Coach for New York Giants; he took the team to the Super Bowl in 2000. He also held coaching positions with the Arizona Cardinals, the Denver Broncos, and the Oakland Raiders. He is currently the Head Coach for the Las Vegas Locos, the season champions of the new United Football League.

It takes a community to support a community theater,” Fassel added. “I would challenge everyone who can, to get behind supporting their communities and programs that help our kids thrive, succeed, and reach their full potential; such as Starlight Community Theater.”

Joining in support of the community of Anthem through Starlight Community Theater is Delarosa Apartment homes, a Greystone community proudly managed by Mark‐Taylor Residential. This remarkable community nestled in the heart of Anthem has graciously offered to host the theater’s audition and rehearsal space free of charge.

Community Manager, Kaycee Price shared “As part of the wonderful city of Anthem, giving back to those in our community is important to us and essential in creating a quality place for all of us to share our daily lives. We are honored to be able to provide this channel of support for the youth of this community, as well as grateful to be a part of the lives of our Residents and to foster a positive environment for everyone to enjoy here at Bela Rosa.”
